All the footwear developed by Labuta is produced through the Goodyear Welt manufacturing process, created by Charles Goodyear, during the industrial revolution, as a manufacturing process that would replace the traditional process of hand sewing. This manufacturing process, invented around 1869, gives the footwear a much higher robustness, quality and durability.

The process itself, makes it possible to change the sole of any shoe or boot at any time, without harming in any way the quality or appearance of it, which makes the repair easier and possible to do countless times.

In addition, the Goodyear Welt manufacturing process gives the footwear greater flexibility, comfort and breathability of the foot. Each pair of our shoes takes approximately 3 hours and 57 minutes to be produced by hand using this process.
