Opened in June 1964, the Hotel Grão Vasco was the first large hotel built in Viseu. Since then, it has maintained its glamor and its welcoming atmosphere, which have become the hallmarks of this noteworthy establishment.
The hotel was designed by the architect Alberto Pereira da Cruz, the mastermind behind such other notable projects as the Caramulo Museum, the Alvor-Praia Hotel, the Delfim Hotel, the Bahia Hotel and the Cidadela Hotel in Cascais, among many others.
Due to its magnificent location in the heart of the city, directly adjacent to the historic center and the most diverse tourist attractions, you can enjoy the tranquility of the hotel while feeling the pulse of the city in a unique way.
Hotel Grão Vasco has 106 rooms, including 12 family-friendly interconnecting rooms, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a renowned restaurant.
