Beautifully knelt upon the Zêzere River and Castelo de Bode dam, Fernandaires belvedere, located in Vila de Rei region, one hour away from Castelo Branco, is one of Center of Portugal's most breath-taking belvederes. A gateway to paradise.
Fernandaires belvedere is part of the Belvederes' Route, recently created by the Municipality of Vila de Rei, and definitely a great highlight of this enchanting region. The beach has an extensive basin of water from Castelo de Bode dam and is surrounded by mountains with eucalyptus, maritime pines and strawberry trees. There is a bar service with a terrace, changing rooms with showers, an emergency room, a lifeguard, the possibility of camping on site and easy access to the beach car park.
The nearby river beach is absolutely inviting. A magnificent spot with sand and two floating swimming pools in a lake area, forming a bay. Ideal for families and beach-goers who are fond of peaceful waters. There is also a picnic area.
The perfect spot to enjoy the most inspiring sunsets!
