Convento da Sertã Hotel and Casa da Cisterna have launched a 6-day tour to show all the beauty of the inland of Center of Portugal. This incredible tour connects the welcoming town of Sertã to the Historical Village of Castelo Rodrigo along 220 km of pure bewilderment!

The hot air balloon festival "Voar na Beira Baixa" (Flying in Beira Baixa) will be held from August 30th to 4th September at the heart of a unique natural landscape because of its immensity and wilderness. Dozens of hot air balloons will fly upon the roads, the paths and the breath-taking sceneries of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova, Oleiros, Penamacor, Proença-a-Nova and Vila Velha de Ródão.
