In 2024, Guide Michelin Portugal has announced 8 new Bib Gourmand restaurants in Portugal, adding to an already existing list of 32 restaurants all over this food-loving country! Center of Portugal has the only 1-star Michelin restaurant in the region, Mesa de Lemos, located in Viseu, scoring also 1 green star for sustainable cuisine. Flora and Olaias are the brand new Bib Gourmand restaurants in the region. Bon appétit !

Awarded a Bib Gourmand 2024 by the Guide Michelin Portugal, the cosy bistrô Flora enjoys a great location at the historical heart of Viseu, in the Cathedral quarter. This restaurant is known for its outstanding product cuisine. Sustainability at the core of its daily practice.

Housed in an iconic cultural venue of the stunning coastal city Figueira da Foz, CAE - Centro de Artes e Espectáculos, Olaias is "the" place for rice lovers! Awarded Bib Gourmand 2024 prize by Guide Michelin Portugal, Olaias is led by the rice expert, Chef Mónica Gomes.

1-star Michelin Mesa de Lemos is located in Quinta de Lemos, 20 minutes away from the city of Viseu.
