Founded in 1982, Tasca do Joel was a small house that served bread and wine to the fishermen of Peniche. It had an oven for the fishermen to roast their fish. Tasca do Joel became a must-spot for fish and seafood lovers in Peniche, apart from its absolutely divine "petiscos".
Located in the surroundings of Cape Carvoeiro, Tasca do Joel is also famous for its vast wine selection. The restaurant has also a pleasant shop that sells wines, cooking utensils and gourmet products.
