Quinta do Fontelo is part of Vouga Valley, and belongs to a region full of history, patrimony, gastronomy and thermal water – the perfect equation for unforgettable days.

One of the main cornerstones of this project is ecology. Green thinking, breathing and feeling. In Quinta do Fontelo natural materials play the major role, especially wood and stone. Energy is created by solar panels and indoor and outdoor lighting is assured by low-consumption lamps. Rain and river waters that cross the property is kept within stone tanks, then used for watering the fields.

We feel responsible for the several animal and plant species around us and the motto is a smoke free environment.
