Villa Pedra is certainly one of the most inspiring renovation projects in Center of Portugal. It consists of a once abandoned village located in Sicó Mountain, only 30 km away from Coimbra, converted into a welcoming accommodation at the heart of a dazzling natural setting. The houses are named after trees and it feels like Springtime all year round!
The 14 limestone houses were rebuilt according to the original architectural design, preserving the ecological basis, as well as the cultural heritage. Each house - for 2 or 4 guests - is beautifully decorated with the most unexpected elements, providing an atmosphere of comfort and utter elegance. Each house has its own personality.
This is a self-catering accommodation, so that guests can prepare their own meals at their homes. Fresh bread is hung every morning at the door!
All houses have private gardens and chill-out areas. Villa Pedra offers its guests 2 outdoor salt-water pools and a restaurant - Cozinha - where, by appointment, you can enjoy a tasty homemade meal.
The basic pillars of Villa Pedra are well-being, tranquility, quality and authenticity. Here you will find serenity and time for reflection, as well as the luxury of rest. The right to “dolce far niente”.
