They work exclusively with endogenous vine varieties of Bairrada wine region: Baga, Bical, Arinto, Cercial and Maria Gomes and their approach to wine-making is a chemical-free one. They are driven by the philosophy of creating authentic wines that respect the laws of Nature. Wines with no chemical added. Wines full of soul and spirit of the place. The grapes are handled with extreme care, and there is little intervention in the winery, as well as a very strict monitoring of the grapes, so that they can express themselves fully.
Thanks to a never-ending research on local plants and on the surrounding forest, Filipa Pato uses 15 different plants in the bio-dynamic composts applied in the vines.
